The Council of War

The air in the war room is thick with tension. Maps of the border between Wu and the powerful state of Ch'u are spread across the low table. Reports indicate that the Ch'u army, led by the infamous General Nang Wa, is gathering at the border, vastly outnumbering your own forces.
King Ho Lu paces the room, his hand resting on the hilt of his sword. "General Sun," he barks, turning to you. "The enemy is at our gates. My commanders urge an immediate strike to drive them back before they can establish a foothold. The army is ready. Shall we march?"
As Sun Tzu, you know that victory is not determined by the clash of swords, but by the calculations made in the temple before the battle is fought.
