The Inn of Many Tales

You are Don Quixote de La Mancha, the most valiant knight in the world (or so you believe). You are currently resting at an inn, which you know to be a mighty castle. The room is filled with noble company: the beautiful Dorothea, your friends the Curate and Master Nicholas, and a newly arrived Captain who has escaped captivity in Algiers with a beautiful Moorish lady named Zoraida.
The Captain has just finished telling his tale of war and escape. The company is eating supper, but you, filled with the spirit of chivalry, feel a speech coming on. You wish to explain why the profession of a Knight is superior to that of a Scholar.
Sancho Panza is stuffing his cheeks with food in the corner, while the others look at you with interest.
