You are Dr. Watson. You have been hiding in a stone hut on the moors, waiting to catch the mysterious stranger who has been watching you. To your shock, the stranger walks in—and it is none other than Sherlock Holmes!
"I never was more glad to see anyone in my life," you say, wringing his hand.
Holmes explains he has been hiding on the moor to watch the case from a distance. "Stapleton is our enemy, Watson. The woman passing as his sister is actually his wife. It is murder he is planning—refined, cold-blooded murder."
Suddenly, a terrible, prolonged scream of horror bursts out of the silence of the moor. The blood turns to ice in your veins.
