One morning, everyone in the Forest woke up to a big surprise. There were strangers among them! A large animal named Kanga and a very small animal named Baby Roo had arrived.
Nobody knew where they came from. Rabbit was feeling very grumpy about it. He called his friends, Pooh and Piglet, to a meeting. "Here we are," said Rabbit, "and suddenly we wake up and find a Strange Animal! An animal who carries her family in her pocket!"
Rabbit tapped his foot. "We must do something about this."
