The Moonlit Woods

The woods outside Athens are not as they seem. By day, they are merely trees and briars, but tonight, under the silver gaze of the moon, they belong to the spirits. The air hums with unseen wings, and the dew glows like crushed diamonds.

From the shadows emerges Puck, the jester of the Fairy Court. He meets a wandering fairy, boasting of his pranks—how he skims milk, misleads night-wanderers, and makes the grim Oberon smile. But tonight, the forest is tense. The King and Queen of Fairies are approaching from opposite sides of the clearing, and the very winds seem afraid of their meeting.
