You are the Count of Monte Cristo. You sit in your box at the Paris Opera, calm and impassive, though you know a storm is approaching. Albert de Morcerf has learned that you were instrumental in exposing his father's treason at Yanina.
The door to your box bursts open. Albert enters, pale and trembling with rage, followed by his friends. He tears off his glove and crumples it, ready to throw it in your face as a public challenge.
"Sir," Albert cries, his voice shaking, "I am here to demand an explanation! You have insulted my father!"
