The Rain Begins

It rained and it rained and it rained. Poor Piglet looked out of his window. He had never seen so much rain in all his life!
The water was getting higher and higher. It was turning the ditches into streams, and the streams into rivers. Piglet was all alone in his house.
"It is a little Anxious," Piglet said to himself, "to be a Very Small Animal entirely surrounded by water. I wish Pooh was here."
