The Survey of the Island

I have now been on this island for over a year. My "castle"—a tent fortified by a semi-circular wall of stakes—is secure. I have resigned myself to the will of Providence, believing that God orders everything for the best.

However, a restless spirit urges me to see the whole of my little kingdom. To the west lies a part of the island I have yet to explore. On the other hand, my supplies are dwindling, and I have a great desire to improve my craftsmanship to make life more bearable.

What shall be my focus for the coming months?
