The Walled City of Yan

The High Walls of Yan loom before you, a stone scar against the horizon. Your army, the forces of Wu, stands ready in the valley below.
King Ho Lu rides to your side, his horse restless. "General! The enemy refuses to meet us in the field. Their cowardice insults us. Order the men to construct mounds and prepare the grappling hooks. We must storm these walls and burn Yan to the ground immediately!"
Sun Tzu's teachings echo in your mind: "The worst policy of all is to besiege walled cities."
You assess the situation. The enemy is entrenched, but their supplies are finite. To attack now would be costly.
What is your command?
