The Lioness at the Lattice

Night has fallen over the jungle. Inside the small cabin, Jane Porter and her maid Esmeralda cower in terror. Outside, the massive lioness, Sabor, claws relentlessly at the wooden lattice of the window. The wood groans and splinters.
William Clayton, having just returned from the jungle, rushes to the window. He grabs the lioness's tail, trying desperately to pull the beast back, but he is no match for her strength. Sabor's head and shoulders are already forcing their way into the room.
Suddenly, a shadow drops from the trees. It is the strange forest man—Tarzan. He sees the danger. He sees the woman he has watched from afar in mortal peril. He must act instantly.
